Simply by talking to the co-owner of the events this week and the fact I leave the tv on CNN when I'm home if nothing else is on, and what do they talk about? Obama.

I'll let the picture speak for itself. Sorry its blury, I took it with my camera phone because I haven't figured how to turn the flash off my digital yet.

All I have to say, too bad, so sad, my obama pride will be not put to the side.

I am not Democrate, I am American, and proud to be who I am!

My vote is for America, not any party lines.

So she is the poor fool among the sad, sad, few.

Ignorant as ever she proves to be.

I leave with this poem

It is all that needs to be!

Gaw! No wonder everyone hates those of us that are Republicans. *shakes head* I didn't vote for Obama, but the man won and he is the new president. I hope he does a smashing job and turns this country around, and I wish members of my party would just get over it..

Sorry, you live with a closed minded fool that can't get past the election or party lines. *hugs* But do understand that not everone has "Obama Pride" and it does get a little taxing not hearing any news other than him. Things are still going on in the world that the news is not covering because it is all about Obama. Yes, it is great that we have and African-American in the White House, about damn time. Yes, history was made, but now it's time to rally together and fix this country.

You're room mate is showing her immaturity, but not everyone is fawning over the man, and those people have a right to their opinions. Remember it could have been McCain that won and you would be hearing about nothing but him... just for perspective.

oh i know

-replying from cell-

my pride in Obama is very complex, not simply that he won. i thinkl he's handled himself pretty good in the race, during transition, and as he's doing now. I'm not a obama thumping pride person, the only obama thing i have is a yard sign i put in my window for obvious reasons.

and i think mc cain is a good person, but wasnt the person we need right now. Im proud hes a senator of my country, he too has handled himself well in many ways, especially after the election.

Obama is not perfect, i know this, i accept it, he is human. there are bound to be bumps in the future. if mc cain had won i would spout the hate my housemate is, i would be worried, just as i am now because the future is uncertain, just much more. i would still listen to the news and talk as i am now, not any different.

Besides, what i was talking to the co-owner last night about was how he retook the oath and why, she hadnt seen a clip of the mess up. i would still be taking about it ig it had been mc cain. its just sad the cheif justice of all people to mess that oath up x.x

Isn't politics fun? I voted McCain and he scares the daylights out of me. Seriously, can't stand the man. I didn't think you were spouting "Obama Love" from the roof tops. I thought that is was interesting that he had to redo the oath, not bad interesting, just curious. Like I said, I wish the members of the GOP, my GOP, would just get over it and move on.
