I changed the filter and cleaned the grill to the AC. But the grill is missing a tab so I have to open the AC cabnet door to close one side with duck tape. I see wet clear goo. Not a lot but it was cold... ew. So I'm going to be giving my landlord a call tomorrow and to see if the AC guy who put it in last year can come and do some 'warrenty' work just to see if its a problem and where the hell its coming from, because I can't.
The guy is good and fair but a little weird... he wants us to use the ultra cheap filters that are blue and so thin you can see through them. But it doesn't catch all the dog hair!! When I removed the filter that had gone from blue to brown I found a mass of hair behind it under the unit. I vacummed it and bought a cheap, but thicker than the one he wants to use, and put that in there. I'll alternate between the two kinds I guess but yuck. I know that's bad because it will get in the unit and clog it up. Its entirely electric so its not like there is a chance for fire, but the thing is so safety prone that if it wasn't to it shuts off and he had to come out to reset it or something.
All the dog hair comes from my dogs, yes but jeez, come on. They're dogs. I'm seriously thinking about taking them in once a month for deshedding treatments once I get everything cleaned in my room again. July is gonna suck. Its gonna be buckle down clean, unpack, repack, sort, and study. I'm 'planning' on doing a yard sale since I will be going just over a month without a paycheck so eh.
I'm tired and truely worn out. I finally got my classes I wanted for the fall. All that is left if waiting for my Uncle to sent me the money before the deadline next month. Out of the three classes I'll only need to buy one book, I have the other two. But I need to get back to practicing on writing and reading my Japanese, or I'm going to be in bad shape come Aug, oi. Working every day and taking classes ever day is going to be hard. I'm going to make an appointment to see my old doctor on getting back on meds just before school starts again to help me focus. I found out from this spring I can barely hold it together when I'm not on them. I'll have two classes on MWF and have to hussel my butt to the bus stop to catch mine home in time to change and head to work. T and R days I'll have my Japanese class and if I'm done with lab I can work on some homework a bit before going home early.
What is really gonna suck is I have a class at 8am every day. That means 'idealy' I'd have to get on 7:10 bus to just barely make in time. But thats if the bus was actually on time arriving at my stops. So I'll have to get on the 6:40, which means I have to get up at 5am. I am NOT a morning person.... oi.
Tomorrow is my relax day, thank god. I'm going to go get my hair cut and then out with my friends for the afternoon and see The Hulk with them. We really hope its better than the first try. Sat and Sun I'll do laundry, clean the house and my room a little, but mainly focus on going over the next week of lessons for work. My house-mate claims she's been trying to find a job, but if at any time I have an opening when talking to my landlord I'm going to mention there is a staffing place just down the street and she could at least get some work there to get money and references toward a more regular job. I don't even think its a quarter of a mile from our street.
