I thought they were lost years ago when i moved out of my mother's house, fleeing my uncle and the pain, but out of the many boxes of christmas stuff i left behind, my cousin only kept one. And in that box was the collection my mother and i had built of little figurines of Santas from Around the world. We didnt have all of them that had been released when my mother died and i surely have a lot of groundto cover to catch up, but the some fifteen ones we had are all there, packed into a single box with a few other chirstmas nacks. Im not going to empty it and see what else may lay, i am content to leave it neatly packed until i buy a plastic container to safely store them in.

I had accepted i had forgotten and lost them to the estate sale long ago; But there they had been, all along, in my mothers old room, in a large box labled clocks.
