Has anyone ever survived on $200 for two weeks? Granted all major bills have been paid. But I only have $200 for food, gas, and all that jazz once the last of my bills cleared until my next pay check two weeks from this friday. Granted I wouldn't be worried if my other income wasn't messed up. I am 'suppose' to get a set amount each month to pay for my rent, major bills, and so on on the first of each month. But with the current problem its delayed by a week to week and half. Guess what is also due on the first on the month? my $400 rent. Which I won't be paying at all until my set amount comes in. I don't have the $200 to spare to put half of down like I did this month until the set amount comes in. My landlord knows what's going on, and I have paid her, so she shouldn't hopefully get after me but oi, I don't like it. My health ins. is on automatic withdrawal on the 3rd of each month so I have to make sure the money is here, hence why I say I'll have only $200 for two weeks when I get paid this friday. Most of my bills are on the 2nd and 3rd weeks of each month.

At least I'm not totally broke and my pantry is stocked enough that I can get by with only getting milk and other things that have to be replaced regularly and need to fix something to eat. But still, ramen might be the main dish by week two.

It is hard, to make ends meet on so little. *hugs*

Ahh, fond memories of the days of being Ramen Noodle poor. WAAAAAAAAY back then I made about $800.00 a month and a little over half went to rent.

I'd invite you over for dinner if you were near by.

Nope. Sorry.

Find a maop of Kansa and stick your finger in the middle of the state. Near there.

I was born in Fort Worth and lived there until I was 17.

I've only been to Ft. Worth once and I had the best bistro ever in the historical district. And it was Lobster too, and I don't like lobster. Oh Irony.

That's tough. Yes, I've been there, so I sympathize. I cheated and bought casserole fixings, made a casserole on Sunday and ate one serving per day, which given your roommate might not work (you could freeze the portions).

*hugs* I hope you can limp through this coming month alright...

I know what you mean, I did that all of the spring semester because I had time to cook. My main dishes were breakfast taco, where I mean 10 at a time wrapped for a few days; meat loaf and mash potatoes; and a chicken cream, rice, and broccoli dish. But I don't have time to do the prep work or cook since I'd have to spend half an hour to just clean the kitchen let along the hours prep time.

Dang, I really am like Bluestreak aren't I? o.o
