I swear, its a Conspiracy against me!

Conspiracy indeed. Its like every time I find things to piece together an awesome lesson for my kids at work in culture I hit road blocks.

Like for the Chinese New Year, I had online education videos and suddenly we weren't allowed to use the computer labs till further notice THE WEEK BEFORE THE Chinese New Year! I had no way of teaching them about it without conflict from them and couldn't do any of the fun stuff that would follow. Same problems came about with Saint Valentines day. Saint Patricks I was being shifted from 1st and Kinders and only as an aide not a teacher, oi. 

So I found a book at the school, granted I'm working with 2nd graders and the book is for middle schoolers but I can draw info and stuff from it to make my own lessons for them. So I go online searching for the book. MY GOD, even with the ISBN its a nightmare! SO I find the publishing company's site, and then the book, only to find more road blocks, ECK.  I will have this book and related materials before the summer is over and next school season starts by god! >:/

I'm sorry you are the victim of a C-O-N-spiracy. That sucks.
Can I tell you about this fabulous bookstore near me that is LEGENDARY amoung all the teachers I know? They get stuff for you, they special order, they have equipment and visuals to go with the books, they are mostly retired teachers and know what it's like...they are the best little bookstore around. Maybe they can help you? I know that a former teacher from our area still uses them even though she moved to Indiana.
