Well, after a lot of waiting and searching I was finally able to find photo on the damage done to Our Lady of the Lake. Take into consideration that there were no sprinklers in the building and the fact it was heavily made of wood from over a 100 years ago I think even with the damage that was done it shows the skills, efforts, and determinations of the firefighters they were able to get the fire under control and out in 3 hours from when the call came in.

I found it in a New York Times article. The suppose cause of the fire right now is an electrical problem started in the attic. They are still investigating.

It survived...painfully.

That's good to know. Was anyone hurt, do you know?

In a way, you could say that. However, historic archives were kept in the attic, they have been lost. Also, because it was made by artisans they would have to bring in people from Europe to rebuilt it to its former glory. How long, if it at all possible, this will take is unknown. A co-worker who has been there, not in the attic, but to the building tells me it was real cherry wood that was used. Its a daunting under taking.
