April Fools?

nova_mythEver get the feeling where when you know its a certain holiday but it doesn't sink in until the day after the holiday? That was me yesterday, knew it was April Fools, didn't fall for any pranks by the kids, just didn't feel like it normally would... maybe that's because I was busy trying to figure out how I was going to do an Easter egg hunt with my kinders with my co-worker and first grade...
My boss did get one over the kids though and it was awesome. We had all grades, K-5, in the cafeteria getting snack and it was LOUD. She got on my microphone and told them all that everyone would be doing detention packets, it was entirely too loud! There was absolute silence for about three seconds before she said "April Fools!". It got even louder after that with all the laughter and yelling.
