nova_myth | Yoko loves her new bed!!!

LOL! Talk about Irony. My old Dalmatian, Lucky, threw up on one of the beds a few days ago, hence the outer cover had to be washed. So I washed it with the other cover of the other bed my dogs have. On that same day I went to Costco to get their monthly supply of dog food.

I so do love Costco. I may pay $50 for a years membership but its worth it! I pay $30 (tax included) for 60lb bag of food, I'd be paying nearly twice that getting that amount at Walmart. That saves me more that $20 a month, which equals a savings of at least $240 a year on dog food. Even if you take away $50 I pay out for membership thats still close to $200. And don't get me started on gas. They're usually 10 cents cheaper a gallon than even Walmarts gas. The only bad thing about it is I only go to Costco once a month because its a good distance aways, and I fill up 2 or 3 times a month on average. Every other month I get laundry detergent from Costco too, its expensive $15 for Tide I think, but it last me nearly 2 months. Softener last me almost 3 months. So as long as I even out what I get each month on top of dog food and gas its easy on my budget.

Okay back to topic. Anyways they had moved the dog food from its usual spot in the back of the warehouse. Right next to the brand I get was the giant boxes of beds. I looked and there was a pretty square bed with stuff arms and a back so it looked like a chair. Brown base with the arms and back in a deep lime green with brown embroidered sunflowers, vines, and leaves. Not a truely pretty color but Yoko is white and brown, so it works. Its just the right size, she can curl up in it and still have room to also splay out on it and lay her head over one of the sides. Considering the other beds were still in the wash and would need time to dry, yes I was using that as an excuse, I bought the bed. At first she didn't know what to make of it. Lucky likes it even though he can only curl up in it, he's too big to stretch out. So she got the okay from him and now she's more often than not curling up in it and not next to me on the bed when I'm on my laptop, watching, or doing homework. She still prefers to sleep next to me though.
