Its people I know and a few of my relatives. My cousin's husband often speaks with a racist manner and I let my displeasure known. Usually he'll go of on a spew its "Them Mexicans... blah blah blah", he's smart enough not to say it in public but says it often in the car or in his house. Any time anyone of ethnic diversity he says it in a racist like manner. It drives me nuts because he's like a damn two face, he'll be talking to one of the guys he works with on the phone and as soon as he is off his mouth runs. -sighs-
But he can't top what my ex-housemate did within the first month when we moved into a house. I knew a good chunk of her family were racists under neath they're so called 'Christian' behavior and suspected she was of that type too. But I never thought she would create the situation she did when we were at the Walmart one night getting groceries. Walmart never has enough cashiers at any of the locations in my city and you're stuck waiting at least fifteen minutes. We were in the ten or less lane and woman in front of us was hispanic getto and the fact she didn't have a diaper back with a 1 year old with her and she was only buying spray paint was a dead clue to me as she waited for man to arrive from wherever he was in the store and refused to move until he got back with more paint and holding up the line. What does my house-mate do? Starts making crude pissed off remarks that quickly gained a racist undertone. It was obvious the paints were going to be used gang related, especially when 'her man' did arrive. But before he did my idiot room mate was speaking loud enough for the girl to hear her (and did I mention we're the only WHITE people in line? By this point I was trying to hush her with a pissed off/disgusted offense) and confront her, "What you saying about my man?". Thankfully she got distracted and I harshly scolded like a pissed off mother and forced ex-housemate to another line to get away from the situation. I was so scared when we finally got to my car because it was nearly 10pm at night and I saw the group of men with the girl when they left the walmart. I verbally lashed her ears off and I never offered her a ride with me to shop for groceries and forced her to take the bus.
Those are just two examples but if I know the person I hear speaking racist I do get after them.
