My feet! Ow!
Aug. 14th, 2009 07:24 pmSan Japan was good but at the same time I feel it was lacking... but then again it was only day one and I don't have a first day comparison. Ghazal and I arrived two hours late, and with not as much as I was expecting it was a good thing. I got my hat! I got chopsticks! And I saw a Predator figure thats ten inches tall for $20. The guy said he would hold it, he only had two. I'll be going by tomorrow for it. My toes hurt, I almost never wear wedge sandles and the geta nearly rubbed me raw.
My highlight of the day was a cosplay Master Chief. I don't play video games but I ironically know this character. And this costume was amazing and I am very... critic like lol. He even has a mock machine gun with a rotating barrel. It was amaing. I feel stupid, I totally forgot about the video feature on my camera. But I did take photos with him. It is simply amazing, it looks so realistic from a distance!
I'll post photos later, I really didn't take pictures of many people, I'm too... cynical? I was surprise at the number of guys dressing as girls, and not in the drag queen way either! I counted at least a dozen in fluffy dresses.
