Apparently my house-mate isn't as confidant as she acts with this new dog. She has him sleeping on the couch in the living room; she couldn't get this new dog and her dog Bruiser to even remotely get along. I over head her talking to her sister, I think, that she would board him and pay for it... right. If she does board him the money won't really be coming from her pocket but from her mom. I have a feeling as I suspected mom came to the rescue yet again also with the Hospital bills. They were perfectly manageable to deal with over time but no, I have a feeling she 'broke down' and mama came running again. It makes me sick. The way she abuses her mother's love. This little shit she calls Max was trying to go at my cat, Mika, who is twice his size. He even tried to growl and snarl at me, and all I did was look at him. This dog has serious issues and shouldn't be here or at her sister's house where there are kids. I am an animal person through and through; but you can't put children in danger, period. This dog is danger written all over it if its behavior is not address, that I know from experience. And the sad thing is I got the very bad feeling its gonna go down to him snapping and biting a kid really hard then being put down because my house-mate and her sister turned a blind eye to it and shrug it off, "Its not his fault, he's a rescue." Its no excuse. He's only going to get worse. And it pisses me off that will most likely be the end of this dog's life.

So now if he's here in the morning I'm going to have to get dressed and out the door at least half an hour early than planned to get my dogs to the doggie daycare. And try to lock my cat inside. I'll have to leave my Democratic Convention early, by 4 or 5 pm, when its expected to go anywhere from 6 to 9pm. Thats more money out of my pocket this month, and more worry for me.

So now I'm at a very uncomfortable position. I know that if she did get him from a creditable rescue group she lied of where she lives if her name is under the ownership of the dog. Because she knows they wouldn't just let a dog go into a house full of other dogs without checking it out and other that live there if its a renting place. They are extremely careful, I know because I volunteered for an animal rescue group in high school. If she brings the dog here for good I'm going to be torn doing the right thing and trying to contact that rescue group and risking my place of residence or ignoring it and worry every day while I'm at school or work I'm going to come home to a fight disaster.

Maybe you can try to talk some sense into these idiots. If they want the dog, then they can find the $ to give him the training and help he needs. They aren't doing him any favors. I agree with you, I hate it when poor animals have to suffer because of irresponsible humans. Oh well, don't let me get started on that subject! Good luck with it.
