nova_mythI recieved a B in History, so my GPA for last semester was below a 3.0, but my overall is still sitting at exactly 3.0. I aim to get As in my Japanese classes and bring that up a few tenths. Even though I'm glad I'm stting at 3.0 overall I'm not feeling very happy...
I spent $60 on books from two Half Price Books stores. Normally I'd be groaning at my spending, but on several books I got 70-90% off the regular price. So if you took the 'retail' vaule like printed on the back that price near $200. I picked up the same latin text book used at my high school, now I have Unit 1,2, and 4. I just need three and the teacher's material and I'm gold to try to reteach myself latin and gain ground. I only covered Units 1 and 2 in school. Two other books I got for a few bucks each are activity/workbooks for my kids, each about $25. Got a few novels, one for just 0.98. I had $7 left on my gift card from my birthday too. The only things I maybe shouldn't have bought but slurged were Volumes 2,3,5,6,7 of Fake. I have volume 1, so I just need 4 to have the whole set. I also got a romance novel, don't know if I'll crack into it tonight...
