What is going on with my school?

nova_mythSeriously, its stupid. My phone is on vibrate, and all I did was answer it to see who called, how am I to know it might or might not be my boss? I was on for 5 secs before handing up, I was already putting it in my pocket when the jerk, "No phones allowed" BS. We're in college, moron, not high school. We have jobs, idiot. Oi.
They're being ridiculously this semester. Oi.
This isn't the first incident, and they're patroling like hawks, its nuts. What the hell brought this on? There are three of them patroling a room with about 30 computers in an open area! I can't even print the answer key to my review to check my work in peace?
