Ow ow ow ow
Aug. 28th, 2008 07:32 pmMy feet!! Ow, they haven't hurt this much since my last three jobs, and I was constantly on my feet for 6+ hours. I think I'm going to have to get new shoes... I guess I'm taking a trip to the outlet mall an hour outside of town. I'm going to try Nike this time. Addius didn't last long, just over a year. I don't want to spend more money, but I took a good look at my shoes, they're starting to make holes on the side, so I have double reason. I only have one pair of tenni shoes, I need to have them broken in for fall.
Work was better, my partner was back and an old co-worker returned. She's the one I click with the most, she was my partner last year with 2nd grade.

But I do this trick, which is very helpful. Buy two pairs of shoes, and wear one pair for a day, then the other, then back to the first, etc. This allows the first pair to completely dry out and for the material to recover, thus both pairs last you much longer. I can get my sneakers to last for 12-14 months this way, and in the long run, I spend less money on shoes.
Especially since it's Labor Day and there will be sales...try finding a Famous Footwear and see if they're having their 'buy one, get the second 1/2 price' sale.
Shutting up now...
