I've decided I'm going to save the money up to order a wheel chair for my dalmation Lucky. It will cost me between $370-400 with shipping. They are custom made so the price does make sense. He's just having so much trouble some times. He can still walk fairly week, but if he tries to run, his back legs can't keep up. I worry he will serious injure himself. Plus, I can't take him for walks anymore because it will strain his hips and back legs. If I'm able to get a another job this month I'll be able to have the order in by mid June. He won't wear it all the time, but I'll be able to take him out again, imporving his quality of life and most likely extend it too. I want another year or two if I can with my old man. $400 is a small price to pay in the long run.
