Today is a day of History
Nov. 26th, 2008 08:54 amWORK. I have two test, both I really doubt I'll pass. After said tests I will not go home until I've read all the articles I've printed out on my subject and one of the three books I checked out (which is over do, opps, but they won't let me recheck it out and I need it!)
Tomorrow I'll read a second book and Friday the third. On Sat I'll watch the movie Windtalkers one or twice, taking notes about things I remember from the books and articles in relation to what is going on in the movie. My subject in my history paper are the code talkers from WWII. My first paragraph will talk about the different kinds of code talkers and then go to the movie which follows a Navajo. My paper will be centered on the movie, using all my sources to either support or dismiss parts of the movie. My major problem is sourcing, I hate that I don't know what I'm really doing on that since its an important part of my college life.
-sighs- High School, I hate you for so many things. The English teacher's idea was to show us a few examples and then expect us to get it and put it in the paper with no practice with the teacher showing up how to write the paper then add the sourcing in it, bla bla bla. Oi. I hate MLA.
On Friday and Saturday I will have to make time for Japanese, I need to buckle down in that subject serious or I am in trouble. I'll understand the content but when it comes to a blank paper my brain goes blank.
