Lucky's Health is in Trouble with a capital T

So I call the vet office this morning to see about taking my dogs in Tue or Thur for their Bordatella. Only to find out they've been trying to get a hold of me (not very well) for weeks. Lucky's blood work came back, and bad. His liver isn't doing well. My stress level just jumped ten fold. I have to call back later between the end of my class and when I head to work since today I'm not going home.

What annoys me is when I updated my infromation on where I live apparently someone didn't put my cell number! And who did the girl blame? ME; saying people never tell them when they change their numbers. I held back tearing into her, I've had this same # for nearly ten years since my mom got me it in middle school with my first cell phone. (no I'm not rich, she worked for the phone company at the time). I was more concerned about finding out what to do with Lucky. Oi.

That aside I'm in anxiety hell. How much will this cost? I have money right now but unlike most of my friends I keep in mind I have bills to pay at the end of the month as well as usual costs to tally through it. I'm guess around $100, and I still need to get their bordatella, because they're due, meds, ect. So now I'm estimating $200 for the month, not including dog food. Any more and I'm in serious trouble because paycheck wise I get a paycheck this Friday and then another during the Thanksgiving Holidays. But $200 is 2/3 of just one check, after taxes my checks are just under $300.

Any my landlord tried to rip into me about being a bad pet owner. Ha. The b*tch.

I need to talk to my boss, see if there is a way for me to get a few extra hours in, like ride bus once or twice a week. I'd do Fridays. Holidays coming we're going to be working less as it is.

Lucky update

Well, Lucky is now on daily vitamins to flush his liver. The worry is either his body is having diffuculty processing toxins or he has a tummer... So I'll pick up x-rays from another vet taken 2 months ago to see if they'll anything. The pictures were of his bones, stomache area was also taken, I think. The cost for the month supply? $50. Hopefully they'll work. I'm taking both Yoko and Lucky tomorrow for Bordetella and I'll ask then when I need to next bring Lucky in, I'm guess two weeks. So far I've been close. I'm hoping that they'll work and I can scale it back to every other day eventually. My poor, poor, old Lucky.

I'm hoping the vet isn't crowded when I go in, I want to ask if they recommend a place for cremations... the event will happen, its just a matter of when, hopefully not for years to come.
