nova_myth: (BRIAREOS!!!!)
Well my first day off where I'm out for the summer from school was surprisingly... dull. I had plan to do a bunch of stuff, but its just hard to focus. Half I couldn't have done anyways. My friend is required to come over to do it and since my house-mate had the day off that was not possible. He needs to look at the mower, see if he can get it working, and the mow the yard for one. Wether or not that would have been able to be done based on the mower we're be laying down 400-600 pounds of cement in holes around the fence line in the backyard. I also need him to tinker with my brake lines on my bike. And if by some miracle we had time finally tackle the insane mess of a pantry. YUCK. It would require us a whole day free of my house-mate to get it done. That is one day of work that will eventually happen this week, we're just waiting for a day when she isn't here.

Beyond that I have dozens of boxes I have to go through. I have to repack what I'm keeping into plastic containers and put what I'm not either in a box for charity or in the trash. I also need to start job hunting for when my current job goes on hiatius in June. I'm extremely picky because I don't want anyting that could possibly cause me stress. Plus, with gas prices I need something that pays around $7 an hour, $8 if its a good distance away. If I can work full time I might, granted nothing else pops up during the summer, be able save the money for a trip up to New Hampshire during Christmas break. My two biggest cost will be the kennel and flight. I'll be at my friends so there wouldn't be a hotel. If I can take care of one of them I won't have much of a strain on my credit card come reservations.

But I just can't get off my butt and do anything but normal stuff. I cleaned the bathroom, kitchen, and did some laundry. Something I do by habit every Saturday if my house-mate isn't around. She did leave for a few hours, hence how it got done. But I didn't know she was going to be gone till she left and I didn't know when she'd be back, hence also why my friend didn't come over and we got to work. I know I have a ton of things I need to do, and I actually have free time to do it finally. But I just want to be lazy, after so long of the constant on the move feeling from the past semester. I also need to stop spending money, not that I do greatly anyways, I'm a frugel person most of the time. But I got tickets to the PBR Ford Tough Bull Riding that will be stopping in town Monday, that was over $100 for the lowest section of seats. I also found Rescue Ratchet yesterday. He's not green but white and red, but he's the voyager series like my Optimuis.  So now I have Bee, Optimus, and Ratchet. I know I'm going to have a high pet bill this month, and I'm going to be putting over $100 on my credit card. That's what sucks about having dogs in the same weight range for the flea, tick, and hearworm medication. A Six month supply only last 3. Plus I have to refill all three of the meds, normally I only have to get 2 a month, and they are due for their bordtella, which they have to have for later this month they are going to be in the kennel while I'm on a trip. Just the vet visit will take one of my paychecks from my job. Thank god for other incomes. If gas prices were under $3 a gallon and I didn't have unexpected costs always popping up in life I could scape by, but life isn't that way so I at least need a part-time job to make ends meet with the unexpected and for sanity leisure when I can. I'll be working almost full time for sure to save up for winter break.
