sick, tired relatives

nova_mythThis could have been a very toleratable one compared to the chaos of last week if I hadn't come down with a summer cold, one that irritated my sinuses. I should be over it by the end of the weekend but effected me greatly. I have failed to do two online quizes fir math and had to skip japanese Thurs. I don't know if my teacher believes me or not. I would have liked to call her but my voice comes and goes....
My cousin's youngest son turned 42 today, he and his brood drove in from Katy, about 250 or so miles away. I went to dinner with them and it turned out to be very relaxing. I can't remember the last time I had been around them and not be stiff and akward somewhat. It almost was a perfect evening until my cousin and her husband started to argue. At this point we all bid retreat. My second cousin will be hitting the big 50 this Dec with her husband; old couple, old fight, just new material. All I can say it wasn't until the end of the evening.
